Are grade boundaries out for November 2016?
Have in mind that in November there are no Grade Boundaries and also that Nov. 2016 is still not available. Those in the link are the latest ones. Didn’t realize there weren’t boundaries for November. And just assumed they’d be our by now, as May boundaries are usually out by July.
What is the IB Learner Profile for Physics?
The IB learner profile The physics course contributes to the development of the IB learner profile. By following the course, students will have addressed the attributes of the IB learner profile. For example, the requirements of the internal assessment provide opportunities for students to develop every aspect of the profile.
physics gcse equation sheet edexcel 2022
Will the students be given equations in the 2022 exams?
Now the students are given the equations in the 2022 exams, I have put together a rough formula sheet for my students to put in the back of their trial exams as the actual one is yet to be released from the examiners. Couldn’t find one on here so thought i’d share. I don’t have any separate foundation students so this one is missing i’m afraid.
how to calculate current gcse physics
What is current in physics?
Current is the rate of flow of charge. In metal wires, electrons move and cause a current. The following conditions are needed for an electric current: Originally, current was defined as the flow of charge from positive to negative. Scientists later discovered that current is actually the flow of electrons, from negative to positive.
How do you find the current in a series circuit?
In a series circuit the current is the same everywhere. The equation. voltage = current x resistance V = I x R. can be rearranged to give. current = voltage ÷ resistance I = V ÷ R. In the circuit above, I = V ÷ R. = 12 ÷ 9. = 1 · 333 amps.
How do you find the total current and resistance of a circuit?
The total current in the circuit is the sum of the currents through each branch. The total resistance for this circuit is calculated by dividing the potential difference of the cell by the total current for the circuit.
What is the relationship between charge and current?
Current is the rate of flow of electric charge. A potential difference (voltage) across an electrical component is needed to make a current flow through it. Charge and current. Electric current is the rate of flow of electric charge. No current can flow if the circuit is broken – for example, when a switch is open.
how to do half equations gcse
How do you write half equations?
Half equations are most often used in redox reactions and in electrolysis. They involve either atoms and molecule gaining or losing electrons to become ions, or ions gaining or losing electrons to become atoms and molecules. Either way, the process for writing the equation is the same. Write down the reactant and the product.
What is the purpose of a half equation?
It is meant to be complementary with another or more half equations to give you a complete ionic equation, which only shows all the ions and appropriate compounds/molecules without all the electrons anymore. ? You’ll earn badges for being active around the site.
What is a half equation with electrons?
half equations contain electrons as part of their equation.
